Dear Colleagues:

On behalf of the organizing committee of Korea Digestive Disease Week 2018 (KDDW 2018), it is our great pleasure to invite you to the second edition of the KDDW to be held at Coex, Seoul, Korea from November 15rd to 17th, 2018. Eight member societies, the Korean Society of Gastroenterology, Korean Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, Korean Association for the Study of the Liver, Korean Society of Neurogastroenterology and Motility, Korean Pancreatobiliary Association, Korean College of Helicobacter and Upper Gastrointestinal Research, Korean Association for the Study of Intestinal Diseases, and Korean Society of Gastrointestinal Cancer, have come together for KDDW 2018.

In particular, KDDW 2018 will be held in conjunction with the Asian Pacific Digestive Week 2018 (APDW 2018) this year. We firmly believe that the co-hosting will make KDDW 2018 more fruitful, and will take advantage this great opportunity to pursue our internationalization strategy.

Under the theme of “Advancing Gastroenterology and Hepatology through Creative Integration,” a large number of professors, doctors, and distinguished leaders from the world will get together at KDDW 2018 to discuss recently emerging issues and exchange the latest information in the field of digestive diseases. The KDDW 2018 Scientific Program will propose high quality scientific sessions that will provide deeper knowledge and new perspectives. The program will serve as a highly rewarding international platform for every one of the participants, and we have no doubt that KDDW 2018 will contribute to the enhancement of the scientific level and quality of our field.

As the capital city of Korea for over 600 years, Seoul possesses a rich culture and heritage combined with many modern resources. We hope that you will also have a chance to enjoy the attractive venue city of Seoul during KDDW 2018.
